Boho ideas for your living room

With so many of us spending more and more time inside our houses, our home decoration is starting to play an important role when it comes to our moods.

Due to the state of the world right now, many of us are reluctant to go outside. But that doesn't mean we have to be sad when sitting inside.

So today we're bringing you a few ideas to liven up your living room and make your days at home a bit brighter!

Sculptures

We don't know why owning small sculptures is an idea not embraced by many people.

Sculptures can completely change the aura of a room if placed in the appropriate positions and have the right style.

You can also use your sculptures as a way to communicate who you are and what you love.

We recommend polished wooden sculptures with an ethnic feel to them. For example, you can look around for some with tribal markings on them.

Bronze is also a good pick. It's sturdy and will keep you company for many years to come. Plus, you can get it repainted if you ever need it for quite cheap.

Floor Cushions

These little chairs are our favorites. They're really minimal and pretty and can be easily stored away if something comes up and you need some extra room.

Plus, floor cushions have been proven to be quite beneficial to your spinal health. It's no coincidence that the Japanese people still swear by them.

You can find them in various shapes, sizes, and patterns. You can pick one that compliments your living room just how you want it to.

Our most-liked floor cushions involve nice, colorful ethnic patterns and have elegant crochet details.

Extra points if you manage to find someone that makes them entirely by hand. You can even ask them to add some nice mandala embroidery to them!

Hand-braided Rugs

It's winter season and rugs are more valuable than ever right now. Rugs trap warmth inside your house, saving you money on heating in the long run.

They're also really nice decorations, they separate your feet from your flooring, helping you feel more comfortable.

We recommend going for custom, hand-braided rugs in multiple colors. They're really soft while also being quite firm.

You can look around for nicely patterned ones or just pick one that has multiple colored braids.

We hope that we inspired you to make a change to your home's decor today, no matter how small or big it's going to be.

Because no matter where you spend most of your time, if you lose creativity, it's definitely going to get depressing.
